Dr. Summer Squillacioti, OTD, OTR/L
Dr. Summer Squillacioti earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Education, from the University of Florida, followed by a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She holds a certification in Sensory Integration from the University of Southern California, enhancing her expertise in working with children with sensory processing challenges.

Throughout her career, Summer has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, private schools, and daycare centers, gaining valuable experience before opening her own practice, Playful Paths Pediatric Therapy, LLC. While working in these settings, Summer found that families struggled to generalize all the knowledge and progress they made in the clinic to their home and community settings. To help bridge this gap, Playful Paths Pediatric Therapy, LLC was founded! Dr. Squillacioti is passionate about tapping into each child’s playfulness while providing the “just-right” challenge to help them achieve his or her goals in a natural environment!

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Summer has undergone advanced training in Sensory Integration, Reflex Integration, Handwriting Without Tears, and the iLs Listening Program. Summer is also a certified yoga instructor, helping her to further connect the physical and emotional bodies to allow her clients to thrive in their daily life. Her goal is to support each child’s growth in a nurturing and engaging environment, helping them reach their fullest potential.

In her free time, Dr. Summer loves to travel with her husband and two sons, park hop, and go to farmer's markets.
